Dhruba Chand Halder College(formerly - Dakshin Barasat College),a NAAC Accredated co-educational Non-Government college, affilated to the University of Calcutta, situated near Dakshin Barasat Railway Station in Sealdah-Lakshmikantapur-Kakdwip-Namkhana section was established in 1965. The college is included in the list of colleges maintained under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. This college in South 24-Paraganas is at a distance of hardly 40 kms. from Kolkata, but it is quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle and pollution of the city life.

Please Read the following before applying for Admission
  1. After completion of Admission, all students are asked to fill up Anti-Ragging Affidavit by using the website www.amanmovement.org or www.antiragging.in
  2. Those who have been have taken provisional admission in Dhruba Chand Halder College must have to fill in registration form and submit to the college office in scheduled time as notified in the notice board. 

    FOR REGISTRATION YOU MUST CREATE ABC (ACADEMIC BANK OF CREDIT) ID THROUGH DIGILOCKER(digilocker.gov.in)

  3. Visit the college website(www.dchcollege.org) for schedule of physical verification of documents.
  4. Choose your subject through the college admission portal(www.dchcollege-admission.org) and take the print out (two copies) of the subject combinations.
  5. Candidates have to carry the printouts of the application form, the last payment receipt, and the provisional admission confirmation certificate generated from the portal (https://wbcap.in) and print out of subject combinations (two copies) during physical verification along with other relevant original documents.
  6. Click on "chose your subject combinations".
  7. Login to enter into the member area.
  8. Cilck on the Link 'Apply for admission'.
  9. Choose your subjects as available to you.
  10. Take the Print out of the 'Subject Combinations'
